Jil comes from athletic bloodlines: her father, Jonathan, was a former NFL player with the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers , assistant coach with the Cincinnati Bengals and recent head coach with the XFL's St. Louis BattleHawks ; her mother, Kristi, was the 1995 Missouri Valley Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Year at Drake and scored over 3,400 points in high school; and her brother, Jaxson, who played at Texas, was the eighth overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks and currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. Jil is a very versatile player that can cover the 4 and 5 positions. A multitalented player that can score, pass, rebound, create for her self and for her teammates. She has a good mid and long range shoot, can play face to the basket but also back to the basket. In her five years in College she stayed loyal to the program of Cincinnati Bearcats and is one of the most successful players in the history of the program.
